MKIII
Inspired by some of the earliest MKIII Benders by Vox, Colorsound and Park in the late 1960s, this two knob Germanium fuzz is a ripper! MKIII is exudes simplicity while retaining a wide range of tones, specializing in high gain big sustaining Germanium fuzz. Three NOS Germanium transistors, along with a single NOS Ge diode give the circuit its powerful characteristics. MKIII utilizes a balanced combination of high gain sustain and gating, setting the stage for an explosive tone!
Two controls on the top, Filter is your stock Treble and Bass control, wide ranging tones with deep bass cut for a sizzle that saws through the mix, or fatten up the tone cutting treble and thickening the midrange. Centered at noon is the most “flat” with a healthy midrange and treble response. Volume controls the output, with pleny of it available! The “Fuzz” control is fixed at maximum just like those early examples!
Like the rest of the Lineage Series, MKIII is true bypass with an LED indicator, and uses a center negative power jack, or can be powered by a 9v battery.
