PERC is my idealized version of the Harmonic Percolator circuit. A super interesting circuit that gets overdrive, distortion and fuzz tones with a dynamic response to your picking and volume control changes. Fuzzier settings yield a blooming low octave component that sits behind single notes for an experience unique to the Percolator design!
Utilizing the stock HP circuit with controls for Harmonics and Volume, and a few tweaks to get the most out of it. Hybrid Silicon and Germanium transistor setup, the first run is using NOS TG52 metal can Ge and NOS Motorola 2N2222 Si transistors. Two NOS Fairchild Si diodes add some extra sizzling drive and allows forore output and push. Huge, thick midrange cut with excellent fun textures and great cleanup. A fuzz unlike any other!
