SHAMAN GERMANIUM PREAMP DRIVE

SHAMAN is back! This time in a limited run featuring some very special goodies inside; Low noise Texas Instruments 2N1307 Germanium transistor pulled from a 70’s console preamp, NOS 1N34a (the Klon diode) Germanium diodes, J1N4741 MilSpec Si diode, and two Soviet 2A503b Si diodes to add extra clipping and texture to the signal with the middle blend knob, to the right is asymmetrical Germanium clipping, to the left symmetrical Silicon clipping. Blend them into the signal as preferred, with the knob centered at noon there is no diode clipping, only Germanium harmonic goodness! A gain (right) and volume (left) knob give you everything from clean boosted signal to dynamic overdrive. Tuned for a flatter response than previous Ge Shaman for a preamp and overdrive tones. These also feature NOS caps, Koa Speer carbon film resistors, 9v center negative power or internal battery, true bypass and led indicator. Finished in purple nebula with ufo knobs. Perfect first or last in the chain pedal for a dynamic edge of breakup sound that brings out detail and germanium warmth, and stacks perfect with a fuzz!
