SUPA FUZZ MKI

Based on a super rare prototype version of the Marshall SupaFuzz, a close cousin to the MKI Tonebender with some tweaks and improvements.
NOS Germanium transistors, capacitors and carbon film resistors. Built on hand cut stripboard using the original layout. Thick, gnarly sustain, MKI explosive textures with a textured decay. Chunky compressed attack with beautiful note bloom.
Controls for FILTER (treble cut) and VOLUME. Fuzz/Attack is fixed at full. Built with an internal bias control to adjust Q2 bias, changing the texture, tone and gating of the fuzz to taste.
Meticulously built on wide pitch Vero using the original circuit layout of the 1960s. NOS Germanium transistors, NOS capacitors and carbon film resistors. 1590BB size enclosure in Silver or Black powdercoat with custom OG style printed graphics.
Options for transistors for “Builders Choice” using more affordable and readily available transistors, or “British Upgrade” for NKT, Mullard, Brimar, Texas Instruments etc transistors. If you’re looking for something specific send me an email!
