TONE SEEKER MKIV “SEEKER SOUND”

“SEEKER SOUND” Tone Seeker MKIV! Based on the late 60’s and early 70’s 3 knob Benders and available in two variations; *PARK is a higher gain, more focused version with a thick distorted texture. *VOX is more fuzzy, buzzy and has a little more low end girth in the clipping. Both feature a replica pressed steel enclosure with vintage style graphics, available in Gold Hammered or Purple Sparkle. Three classic controls include an accurate “backwards” FUZZ knob, Treble & Bass filter, and Volume with extra boost available. Built on replica PCB using NOS Germanium transistors and bias Diode, NOS capacitors, Koa Speer carbon film resistors. The MKIV rips! A seriously underrated fuzz in the Bender family, tons of sustain and ripping Germanium texture and sizzle. Biased for a big open sustain with a touch of cleanup. Treble & Bass filter really opens up some unique filtered tones from thin to thick, FUZZ control pushes the sustain and texture from distortion up to a compressed fuzz tone. Extra volume is added to be able to boost the output hitting your amplifier, as stock vintage units barely make unity volume. 
Options for transistors for “Builders Choice” using more affordable and readily available transistors, or “British Upgrade” for NKT, Mullard, Brimar, Texas Instruments etc transistors. If you’re looking for something specific send me an email!
